Columbus, Ohio has been under a stay at home order for 3 weeks now. With all this extra time on my hands my stash is getting low which got me to thinking… maybe I should tell people about my three favorite places to get fabric because maybe your stash is getting kinda low, too.
Of course, JOANN is in my top three. And, like you, I like JOANN because I can actually go in the store and ‘pet the fabric.’ We all know it’s a lot more fun to choose fabric if you can actually touch it, feel the quality, and see the vibrant colors.
A lot of JOANN stores across the country have closed while this quarantine is in effect but they do still offer online ordering. You can choose to have the fabric shipped to your home if you don’t want to venture out. And you can also choose to drive to your local store for curbside pick up – if your store has it in stock.
Fat Quarter Shop
Don’t let the name fool you. Not only do they offer fat quarters, they also sell yardage as well as all varieties of pre-cuts, and they get new fabrics in all the time. This is an online only shopping site and they’ll ship directly to your home.
Even if you don’t need any fabric today (yeah, right!) you should check out their daily Flash Sale at Fat Quarter Shop. They always offer 3 or 4 items – usually a pre-cut along with some notions or patterns – and the pricing is super low on these deals.
Here’s what I got today from Fat Quarter Shop:
Missouri Star Quilt Company
Missouri Star Quilt Company is another favorite online shopping site and they also have a Quilters Daily Deal. It’s worth it to visit this site every day, too, because their Daily Deal prices are awesome! Missouri Star also carries yardage and all the varieties of pre-cuts.
Here’s what I got yesterday from Missouri Star Quilt Company
So those are my top 3 favorite places to get fabric when I either can’t leave my house or I just don’t want to. (Or, I just feel like buying more fabric which is like every day, right?)
Obviously, those are just 3 of the many, many online sites for fabric lovers. I’ve tripped over quite a few more but so far these are the only 3 I’ve actually ordered from and I didn’t want to recommend a site I haven’t tried myself.
But what about you? Maybe you have a secret fabric site, too. How about sharing with us in the comments?
